One of my main roles at the Correctional Service of Canada since 2017 has been camera work. From site visits to corporate events, I've been able to photograph a wide variety of content throughout my time at CSC. This page showcases some of my favourite shots.
Although the creative team at CSC is now 6-8 people, I was the first dedicated creative employee hired by the communications team. This means that I was able to provide recommendations and advice when management was looking at upgrading our equipment. As a result of this, the collection of cameras and lenses used by our team is largely gear that I've selected based on my experience being a wedding photographer and gear enthusiast.
The photos featured here have been taken across the country. In my role at CSC I've been fortunate enough to be able to travel a significant amount. From healing lodges in the remote areas of Alberta to women's institutions in Atlantic Canada, I've been able to capture powerful imagery at over half of Canada's federal institutions.
